Kirko Papajanis, President
Kirko was promoted to the role of President of Boxpilot in 2008 and currently manages all business operations for Boxpilot. Kirko's specialties include operations management, marketing strategy, sales strategy, IT deployment, IT management, kaizen, human resources, production systems, workforce management, and project management.
Kirko Papajanis was recruited by the founding partners of Boxpilot in 2001 to build critical Human Resources systems at the young company. He focused on developing an easy to execute hiring model which minimized overhead. Applying sound marketing fundamentals, Kirko developed techniques and training in the Boxpilot call center. This allows Boxpilot to provide a high quality product which remains sensitive to clients' existing relationships with their market.
By 2002, Kirko was in charge of all call center operations, overseeing all technology projects, as well as the expansion of the call center team. Kirko began his involvement in Sales and Marketing in 2004, and was instrumental in shaping the company's current marketing systems, as well as the training and implementation of new sales reps.
Michael (Mika) Kaitila, Co-Founder, Chairman
Since the age of 15, Michael (Mika) Kaitila, Co-Founder & Chairman, has been an entrepreneur and CEO, starting and successfully managing companies initially in event promotion, advertising media, marketing services and later in real estate, investment management and alternative investment capital raising.
A Wharton MBA graduate, Michael is known for his passionate approach to finding the right people and developing his team, and his relentless and creative pursuit of efficiency and growth. Michael's companies service client bases including many of the largest Fortune 100 enterprise through to the largest pension funds across the country. As a co-founder of Boxpilot, Michael's strategic insight and operational resources have played an important role in the shaping of the firm and its competitive advantage including pioneering of the Guided Voicemail™ concept.
Michael graduated with distinction from University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management with a Bachelor of Commerce and holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
John Zervas, Director of Operations
John Zervas, Director of Operations, began his career at Boxpilot more than eight years ago. Currently directing the production team, John has successfully led the completion of over 7,000 campaigns. With a strong background in business management and IT, John has led efficiency in data management and call center innovation while maintaining a culture of errorless execution. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce in IT Management from Ryerson University and lives in Toronto, Canada.
Cindy Kang, Sales Operations Coordinator
Cindy Kang, Sales Operations Coordinator, has been with the company since 2008. She began at Boxpilot on the front lines, starting out as in the call center, guiding voicemails and gaining an intimate understanding of the service and how it applied to our clients' marketing and sales operations. Cindy's current duties involve sales and marketing support, lead management, accounts receivable, and territory alignment and distribution. Her attention to detail and drive for efficiency has helped reshape many of Boxpilot's systems. Prior to joining Boxpilot, Cindy studied Commerce at the University of Toronto.
